My Dear husband just have a new gadget named Mio DigiWalker C230. A portable pocket-size GPS to assist and accompany him go to many places. He loves it’s adjustable features to show him a bunch of alternative route to go. As leaving Mio inside the car when parking (especially in an open area) is not recommended (actually I don’t allow it too
), so he has to bring it inside his pocket. Considering keys, coins and other thing inside that would scratch its beautiful body, my husband request a “simple” pouch to keep it safe.

Because the requirement is to safe it from scratch, so I make the pouch with tunisian technique. Use tunisian simple stitch to make it a solid and masculine pattern with grey wool thread. I only add 3 rows tunisian knit stitch as an accent. Even it just a simple pouch, I finish it in a few days due to my high activities.

Why I said a simple pouch? because my husband doesn’t want any zipper, or button or rope to close the pouch. I think the pouch must have any safety item to prevent its content from slip down when put upside down in his pocket. He just wants to slide in his Mio into the pouch just like a sock.
So, here it is… his grey-mio tunisian pouch.
Pssst, actually I plan to add an elastic rode/ribbon at the top of the pouch
