Actually, this booties was made since a few week ago. It’s a quick project actually just a one-day project but I made it slowly … very slowly #-o . Inspired from Junior’s booties, my friend Utha wants me to make one for her youngest daugther. First, I made it in pink but my yarn was limited, so I decided to change it to maroon with pink accent to make it girly.
Despite of make a spike booties, I changed the spike pattern with a serial of sc, dc and sc on dc, dc on sc like the overlay part of my Uptown Bag. I make the booties 1 row higher before add 2 rows overlay and a 3-ch edging. It just easy to make, make 2 sc chain for the strap and hide it below the overlay.
And this red booties is a gift for Jihan.

In my DC group, there a self-written booties pattern by one of our member as the exam of reading pattern class. And as the member I got the pattern too. This spike booties result a cute booties accent by a spike pattern with different colour of yarn. This pattern is easy to follow and to make, actually I’ve already finish this booties last week. But just have time to take the picture and post it today.
I made this booties using light grey baby wool yarn rom DC combine by dark brown soft cotton yarn. Using hook no. 4/0 it seem that I made a little bit bigger than the pattern size. After washing this booties it became more tighten than before… more steady I think.
So here my first booties for my Junior. Can’t hardly wait until the delivery time. Your shoes is ready my Junior

My Dear husband just have a new gadget named Mio DigiWalker C230. A portable pocket-size GPS to assist and accompany him go to many places. He loves it’s adjustable features to show him a bunch of alternative route to go. As leaving Mio inside the car when parking (especially in an open area) is not recommended (actually I don’t allow it too
), so he has to bring it inside his pocket. Considering keys, coins and other thing inside that would scratch its beautiful body, my husband request a “simple” pouch to keep it safe.

Because the requirement is to safe it from scratch, so I make the pouch with tunisian technique. Use tunisian simple stitch to make it a solid and masculine pattern with grey wool thread. I only add 3 rows tunisian knit stitch as an accent. Even it just a simple pouch, I finish it in a few days due to my high activities.

Why I said a simple pouch? because my husband doesn’t want any zipper, or button or rope to close the pouch. I think the pouch must have any safety item to prevent its content from slip down when put upside down in his pocket. He just wants to slide in his Mio into the pouch just like a sock.
So, here it is… his grey-mio tunisian pouch.
Pssst, actually I plan to add an elastic rode/ribbon at the top of the pouch

Happy birthday Thata Pang!

Here my latest FO as the CAL project among member of Dynamic Crochet group. The project actually is a speedy project because it used bulky yarn. I finished this purse several days ago, but… I can’t post it because there’s a problem downloading its picture fom my camera memory
Ok, forget about the trouble. I share the story of my CAL, Chic on The Halfshell Purse designed by Drew Emborsky. I used 3 green small-roll of 4 ply wool that available at DC. Considering the need of the yarn, I used a turquise roll of 4 ply cotton for the centerpoint of my purse. It’s my first time using bulky yarn and thanks God I have clover hook no. 10 to work. The pattern is consist of sc, ch, dc and sl st to make a round shape. It’s easy to make, that’s why its become a speedy project in my group.
I almost got crazy knowing my yarn is up! Fortunately it still enough to make a row of sc for edging the purse. The bad news is, my yarn is not enough for making purse enclosure. Just think of it later and enjoy wearing my purse first

Actually this mystery KAL scarf project was held for 2-3 month but Diana, my friend in groups was finished it in a few days! What a quick knitter. I, my self just finished it in 3 weeks in a busy couple weeks enrolled the committee for graduation event and support my husband for his Open Dialog with Mr. Roy Suryo last week.
As this project was a mystery project so the participant just got a hint text pattern, the rest project was up to each participant. When I finished make the scarf based on the hint, it’s time to modified it to make the best that I could. Start to exam the hint pattern, considering the repetition part so I make a modification. I rotate the pattern and add extra motif to make a nice connection between each part of pattern.
As the final result, my scarf looks have a mirroring pattern. Use 1 big ball of softy wool, knitted with no. 6 needle. It’s so warm, just suitable to cover my throat … I’ve got cough and fever since 3 days ago and getting worse
Ok, here’s my version of mystery KAL scarf… I’m going back to sleep to get rest again. May I getting well soon!

Ok, slowly but sure, I finished make this eyelet dishcloth last night (exactly 4.00 AM in wee hour) This is one of KAL project held in our group. This motif is easy to make, consist of k2tog, yo and k2 repetition in a row combine with k2, k2tog and yo repetition on other 4th row after.
Rather than make all 5 times duplication motif rows as stated in pattern, I make it shorter with brown ICT. Used 3,5 circular needle I think this eyelet motif is beautiful. So, just try to make it ones, you’ll love it

I still have one motif KAL quest when this mystery quest posted in our group. Posted in writing pattern without any clue and picture of finished item make me attempt to delay the Eyelet quest. This pattern has blurred me up with a B stitch… what the stitch is it? Chit chat with other member and browse the net I decide to refer it to “knit it from the Back loop“.

It’s quite not easy to make B stitch at the first time. But after make-pull it off-make it again several time **gosh!
** I feel convenient to go ahead finish the quest. And the answer is… it’s a triangle motif pattern! Whew I’m so excited that finally I make a triangle :D But I think there’s a trap at row 4 of pattern given by moderator to test us resolve the mystery … Ho ho ho now I learn counting the stitch to check it right or wrong. So, here is my Triangle Cloth

Next KAL project
finally finished my WIP on KAL project. Make a square motif sample based on given pattern to improve knitting skill. Have no idea yet to make it an specific item, so I just make 2×3 squares.
It’s my first knitting item using ICT plain (Indonesian Cotton Thread) well-known in our group. Maybe because I used smaller hook (2,5 circular) and the characteristic of the thread I fell that my work is a little bit hard to handle. Maybe I have to use a bigger hook or loosen the knit. However, here’s my square motif dishcloth…, combination of knit and purl only… it easy to make, trust me
Are all my WIP done already? No they aren’t, The Eyelet Dishcloth is already waiting for me :D
